A Kreider Dairy Farms Tour Trolley was loaded up with passengers when the driver, a farm employee, noticed a malfunctioning problem causing a fire in the trolley's engine compartment while driving in the 1200 block of Lancaster Road, the Northern Lancaster Regional Police explained in a release on Aug. 28.

The driver stopped the trolley near Park Hill Drive and safely evacuated all the passengers before the emergency crews arrived around 3:15 p.m. on Aug. 24, according to the release.

The trolley was "destroyed by fire" before the Manheim Fire Department could extinguish it, the police said.

No injuries were reported but the exact cause of the fire is unknown.
